LONG TRIANGULAR LAYERS

TRIANGLE layers are a method of layering the hair to create a distinctly tapering effect in the bulk of the hair.

The LONG-LAYERED TRIANGULAR cut creates triangle layers, the term refers to a finished style with straight hair that tapers at the lower portions of the hair strands

SQUARE SHAPE

Square layering always maintains a strong, solid cutting line along the edge of the hairstyle. The surface layers of the hair (layers that lie on top) are layered to add texture or visual interest and to balance bulk as needed.

SQUARE layers (box layers) are a popular style element for most of today’s current cuts. The technique is ideal for women with long, thick and wavy hair who want to keep their hair from appearing too bulky or voluminous toward the bottom of the hairstyle.

SHORT CIRCULAR LAYERS

ROUND layering refers to the silhouette created from the layering technique. Achieving this effect often requires the use of a curved cutting line.

The CIRCLE cut is an example of a round layering style. This is especially true when the hair is cut to a balanced length so that it lies and forms a spherical silhouette. The round layering also qualifies as convex layering.
