Looking back, the most influential career move for me was my employment and training at London's West End prestigious MICHAELJOHN Royal Appointed Hair Salon (off ‘New Bond Street’, close by the ‘Ritz’ Hotel) and some years after at TONI&GUY UK Academy, Manchester and TONI&GUY UK Salon, Sheffield

Having worked in various hair salons and alongside other hairdressers, I was able to observe clients who frequently complained about how their hair lost shape so soon and disappointingly even after the first wash
So curious as to why this was happening, I soon confirmed that it was because not all haircuts are cut accurately or created using head shape
"I accept that every single client's head shape is unique and understand that taking head shape into consideration, building the haircut on individual head shape can improve client suitability, accuracy and longevity (in other words able to maintain it's shape).
This means clients can enjoy their haircuts for more time and are able to visit the salon less frequently, ultimately saving their money!"
